#Idea: VR Viewing Decks of famous landmarks

The viewing decks of many major international landmarks just have window panes for you to look out from. Disappointingly those windows can be a little messy at times.

Examples of these viewing decks are the Kuwait Towers, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Empire State building in NYC, Carlton Center in Johannesburg, and the Petronas Towers in Malaysia.

Using full-dome or our current level of holo-deck technology isn’t there an opportunity to transport people to far-off places. As a minimum it could allow people afraid of heights to see what they’re missing out on.

Why limit ourselves to viewing decks of terrestrial destinations? How about a viewing platform from the Moon or Mars (using rover footage)?

The opportunities are endless….
